Blis Drives further expansion into US with appointment of senior executive
Move follows an increase in new business and strategic opportunities in North America.
New York, 21st Sept 2016 – Blis, the global pioneer in advanced location data technology, today announced the appointed Gil Larsen as vice president, Americas, and the opening of new offices in New York, as part of its continued international expansion.
Larsen joins Blis from Thinknear, a location advertising company, where he served as Regional vice president. He will be responsible for driving Blis’ revenue growth in the US market and brings more than 20 years’ experience in building strategic media and marketing partnerships with leading brands across all verticals.
Over the course of his career, Larsen has worked for both digital media companies such as YuMe, as well as professional sports leagues, including the National Basketball Association (NBA). Given his background, Larsen’s expertise lies in working collaboratively with both agencies and clients in creating strategic, data-driven marketing and media alliances that help drive the business forward.
