Blis appoints Fran Vavallo as head of sales Victoria, as Melbourne team expands
Marketing specialist Blis has appointed Fran Vavallo to the role of sales head Victoria and Claudia Loritisch as account manager.
Leading location marketing specialist, Blis, today announced two senior hires to its expanding Melbourne team, with Fran Vavallo joining as Sales Head Victoria and Claudia Loritisch as Account Manager.
As Sales Head Victoria, Vavallo is tasked with further elevating Blis’ brand presence in Melbourne, and championing quality location marketing campaigns to local agencies and advertisers. Additionally, Vavallo will continue to grow the Victorian team over the coming months, ensuring Blis provides an ample coverage of location specialists in the state.
Vavallo joins Blis most recently from a State Sales Director Role with Mamamia, having worked with the publisher for five years. Prior to Mamamia she worked across numerous GSM roles in Sydney and Melbourne with Southern Cross Austereo.
Claudia Loritsch takes up her role as Account Manager following a position with Carsguide in digital sales. Loritsch will form a key part of Blis’ market-facing activity, working alongside the sales team to build and maintain agency relationships and deliver effective campaigns.
Blis Australia MD Nick Ballard says the two hires are the first stage in the company’s plan to further establish Melbourne as a growth market. “We have big plans to grow in Victoria and we’re excited to be expanding our local team to that end. Fran is a highly regarded and much-liked operator within Melbourne’s vibrant media landscape and we’re delighted to have her fighting our corner. I look forward to working with her and watching our Melbourne presence grow under her leadership.”
